I studied BA (hons) in Graphic Communication at the University College for the Creative Arts Farnham where I also completed my Foundation Diploma in Art & Design.My artistic influences are based around Cornwall and specifically the areas in which I grew up. I have many fond memories of my childhood, which is apparent in my work. In my final year at University my work has involved very traditional techniques such as relief printing and letterpress.
I have a passion for everything hand crafted and I would like to think I am someone continuing to use these declining traditional methods. I am drawn to creating bright and vibrant pieces, considering my colour combinations carefully and I always aim to please the eye of the viewer. I aim to continue experimenting with printmaking techniques, bookmaking and improving my design skills.
